Washing machine push ups

Also known as ‘around the world push ups’.

Washing machine push ups involve adding a circular, or rotational, motion to a standard wide grip push up. With a wide grip, as you lower your chest toward the ground, move your torso in a smooth circular path—either clockwise or counter-clockwise—before pressing back up. Perform an equal amount of reps in each direction. This variation helps build rotational control, stability and overall upper body strength.
