About
I’m Neill.
I’ve trained calisthenics since 2009, after being inspired by the Ruff Ryders ‘Thug Workout’ DVD.
At a time when calisthenics was barely on the radar in the UK, I was part of the small community - running one of the first dedicated YouTube channels in the country and helping shape the scene.
My experience in calisthenics goes far beyond coaching. Over the years I have judged at competitions for both the World Calisthenics Organisation and the World Street Workout and Calisthenics Federation, and I ran a calisthenics equipment company for over a decade. Few people in the UK, if any, have been this close to so many sides of the sport, and that breadth of experience gives me a unique insight.
I work with clients at every level - from those learning their very first pull up, to experienced athletes refining the form on their muscle up. However you train with me, the approach is built around you and your goals. For some that means a structured programme, carefully designed to move you forward step by step. For others, particularly when learning a specific skill, it means breaking the movement down and working through the progressions. For many, it's a combination of both.
